P2MChildren is a leading non-governmental organization saddled with the responsibility of Educating, Empowering and Protecting Children, especially the Girl Child and Women in Nigeria. P2MChildren is committed to realizing the formal education of Children, especially the “GIRL CHILD”, through our GIRL CHILD EDUCATION and SKILL ACQUISITION schemes in North Eastern and North Western Nigeria to curtail early marriages and reduce the burden of illiteracy amongst the female gender in these parts of the Country. We are set to ensure that, every Girl child has access to quality education as it is a fundamental human right in acquiring at least a minimum of Secondary School Education in this region where there is poor/low level of education/literacy. The skill acquistion excercises/programs is to empower girls and women to become self dependent and resourceful members of the society. The P2Mchildren SEX EDUCATION and CHILD ABUSE programs, is/are i ncooperated into the conventional School system in the South, East and Western Nigeria. This initiative will reduce; the menace of teenage/unwanted pregnancies, Maternal and Child mortality, and child abuse in these targeted places where there are high reports of abuse cases. read more
